z Main Menu Icons
There are six main menu icons: DISPLAY, RECORD, EVENT, NETWORK, SYSTEM.
User must perform "Date and Time Setup", "HDD format", "Factory Default Procedure" and "Reboot"
under following circumstances.
1. Operating the DVR unit for the first time.
2. After Hard Disk Drive upgrade or change.
3. Changing the system time or reconfiguring time zone setting.
4. After Firmware update.
5. After Time Server Configuration.
z Date and Time Setup
Choose SYSTEM icon from Main System Menu
Select desire time zone from the "TIME ZONE" drop down list.
Select correct date format from the "DATE FORMAT" drop down list.
Select correct Year, Month, Date, Hour, Minute and Second from the "Date / Time Setup" section.
z Hard Disk drive clear
Please clear the HDD after performing date and time setup.
Select SYSTEM icon
Select STORAGE from drop down list.
Click FORMAT button next to "FORMAT" section.
Exit the main menu.
z Record Configuration
Select RECORD icon from main menu.
Under the Record Setup window, configure desired resolution, quality and frame rate by using the drop down list items.
They are configurable by each channel or you may use the copy setting button to apply to all cameras.
In the Schedule page, use the Mode Column to choose among Continue, Motion, Alarm, Motion+Continue(M+C),
Alarm+Motion(A+M).
z Network Configuration
Select NETWORK icon and select it.
Select the LAN on the drop down list.
z Dynamic IP Example
Choose the Dynamic on IP type drop list.
Click on the SAVE button and observe the IP address and other setting auto populated in to fields.
z Static IP Example
Choose the Static on IP type drop list.
Populate the field provided below with IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway.
