6.7 Measuring Harmonic
• In the event of inflow, an order of harmonic flows into the load.
In the event of outflow, the harmonic flows out from the load.
• The length of the vector represents the ratio of the apparent
power of the order of harmonic as a percentage of the appar-
ent power of the fundamental component.
• The x-axis represents active power and the y-axis represents
reactive power. They are plotted on log axes.
• When the reactive-power-meter method is turned ON on the
measurement setting screen, the harmonic-power phase angle
is expressed as a number between 0 and
±
180 degrees. When
the reactive-power-meter method is OFF, the phase angle is
expressed as a number between 0 and
±
180 degrees.
