6.7 Measuring Harmonic
In the event of inflow, an order of harmonic flows into the load.
In the event of outflow, the harmonic flows out from the load.
The length of the vector represents the ratio of the apparent
power of the order of harmonic as a percentage of the appar-
ent power of the fundamental component.
The x-axis represents active power and the y-axis represents
reactive power. They are plotted on log axes.
When the reactive-power-meter method is turned ON on the
measurement setting screen, the harmonic-power phase angle
is expressed as a number between 0 and
±
180 degrees. When
the reactive-power-meter method is OFF, the phase angle is
expressed as a number between 0 and
±
180 degrees.
The order is changed
Phase-angle data for each order of harmonic
using of the cursor
key. The vector of the
on-screen order is
marked with "+" at its tip.
