Pre-Operation Inspection
Checking the operation of the contact check function

Turn off the instrument power.

Connect the test leads to the LOW and
HIGH terminals.

Red
For contact check

Turn on the instrument power.

Set the contact check function to [ON].

Allow the test leads to short circuit.
(Short circuit the black test leads and red test
leads. Do not short circuit the black test lead and
red test lead.)

Start a test.

Check that the test starts.
(If the test does not start, the test leads may be
broken or the instrument may be damaged.)
