Setting the Range
3.2 Setting the Range
There are two range settings, auto and manual. For the manual range setting, the
range can be chosen from 2 M
Ω
, 20 M
Ω
, 200 M
Ω
, 2000 M
Ω
, and 4000 M
Ω
. Note,
however, that the ranges that can be set varies depending on the test voltage. (p. 153)
The auto range may require some time before a measured value is displayed as the
range has to shift after a test starts. To eliminate this time, set the range manually
according to the object to be measured.
Setting the manual range

Open the Settings screen.
Select [SET].

Set [RANGE] to [HOLD].

Return to the
Measurement
screen.

Select the range.

screen.
When analog output is used, 0 to 4 V is output from the analog output terminal according to
each resistance range. (p. 105)
