4.6 Product Activation in Windows® 10
In Windows® 10, product activation is carried out automatically when you connect the Internet
connection. If you don't carry out the Product Activation in the environment unconnected to the
Internet, "Connect to the Internet to activate Windows" will be displayed on the Control panel －
System and Security - System, but you can use it as it is.
To activate Windows offline over the phone, perform the following procedure:
1. Open command prompt as an administrator, and then run the following command:
C:¥windows¥system32>slui 4
2. When the Select your country or region window appears, select a country, and then click
Next.
3. The Call and provide your installation ID window appears. Call the displayed phone
number, and then verify the confirmation ID. After verifying the confirmation ID, click Enter
confirmation ID.
4. The Enter your confirmation ID window appears. Enter your confirmation ID, and then
click Activate Windows.
5. The Windows is activated window appears. Click the Close button.
Windows is now activated.
The product license is already activated for Windows Server® 2019.
4.7 If Mouse Operations Do Not Work on the Sign-in Screen
In Windows 10, if a confirmation message for setting up memory dump collection appears while
the user who set the password is signed in, a problem might occur in which only the background
screen is displayed and mouse operations do not work.
If this problem occurs, you can access the sign-in screen by pressing the Enter key on the
keyboard.
