● Do not loosen the horizontal and vertical direction lock screws, which are indicated in the text
below, at the same time. Doing so makes it difficult to adjust the stream position.
[Procedure for stream alignment in the horizontal direction]
Follow the procedure below to adjust the stream position in the horizontal direction.
(a) Loosen the horizontal direction lock screws (at two
locations) shown in the figure below according to the
indication of loosening shown in the figure on the right.
● Loosening them too much makes it difficult to adjust the
stream position.
(b) Turn the horizontal direction adjustment screw according to the figure below to adjust the stream
position to the center of the gutter.
(c) Tighten the horizontal direction lock screws (at two locations) after adjusting the stream position.
This completes the stream position alignment in the horizontal direction.
Move the stream position in the direction of the plus
deflection electrode: Turn the screw counterclockwise.
Move the stream position in the direction of the minus
deflection electrode: Turn the screw clockwise.
