  If the power does not turn ON when you press the ON switch on your Hitachi Printer, first, turn ON the main power switch. If that doesn't work, turn OFF the main power switch, ensure the power outlet is active, and then connect the power plug securely. As an alternative, make sure the status indicator lamp is OFF before pressing the ON switch. Turn the main power switch OFF and then ON again after ten seconds, then try pressing the ON switch for about two seconds.
