X-Stop
The X-Stop is an accessory that stops movement of the Carriage and the device mount
along the Lat X axis. The X-Stop Position Indicator is used to position the X-Stop along
the bottom scale of the Lateral Arm. During a procedure, the X-Stop is positioned at the
Lat X coordinate as shown on the Biopsy Control Module. When the X-Stop is locked in
place and the Carriage is positioned against the X-Stop, the X-Stop position and the
Carriage position are at the same value on their respective scales. Use of the X-Stop is
optional.
