7. Disconnect all cables from the type-a controller or 1-port NVMe adapter.
8. Remove the type-a modular controller or 1-port NVMe adapter.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing and replacing an energy pack
Procedure
1.
If installed,
remove the bezel.
2.
Power down the server.
3.
Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5.
Remove the server from the rack.
6.
Remove the access panel.
7. Remove the energy pack holder.
8. Release the energy pack cable from the cable clip.
9. Disconnect the energy pack cable from the system board and then remove the energy pack.
