a. If installed, remove the inner drive cage.
b. Remove the outer drive cage.
• To replace the drive backplane of the inner drive cage (box 2), remove the inner drive cage.
11. Disconnect all cables from the 4LFF drive backplane.
12. Remove the 4LFF drive backplane.
a. Remove the screws
b. Lift the backplane and remove it from the chassis.
• Outer drive cage
• Inner drive cage
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
