Before removing the fan control card cable assembly
Procedure
1. Power off the array enclosure.
2. Disconnect all cables from the enclosure, including the power cables.
3. Loosen the captive CTO screws (2) behind the latch (1) on the front left and right bezel ears of the
enclosure.
4. Slide the enclosure out of the rack and set it on a secure surface.
5. Remove the rear CTO hold down bracket.
6. Remove the storage controller enclosure from the rack.
a. Back up all data before removing the enclosure from the rack.
b. Remove or unplug all cables.
7. Remove the fan modules. See Removing a fan module on page 98.
8. Pull the hood latch up and back (1 and 2), and lift the enclosure cover up and remove it (3).
