Installing the ICL
Procedure
1. Install the replacement ICL board on the mounting bracket using the four mounting screws.
2. Install the ICL bracket using the three bracket mounting screws.
3. Install both controller modules. See Installing a controller module on page 92.
4. Install the enclosure cover and press the hood latch down to engage the latch.
5. Install the enclosure in the rack.
6. Tighten the front retaining screws.
CAUTION:
The front CTO retaining screws must be attached at all times when the enclosure is racked.
7. Reconnect all cables to the enclosure, including the power cables.
Verifying ICL operation
Procedure
When the enclosure has completed its power on sequence, inspect all enclosure status LEDs to ensure
that the enclosure is operating properly. For more information, see Status LED descriptions on page 15.
Migrating data from other StoreVirtual Storage systems
The StoreVirtual Migration Manager enables you to migrate data from a P4000 G2, StoreVirtual 4000, or
StoreVirtual VSA system to a StoreVirtual 3200 system. For more information, see the StoreVirtual
