Updating software with Internet access
Systems that are connected to the Internet, have DNS configured, and have properly configured proxy
settings will check for software updates and patches when you log in to the SVMC, access the
dashboard, or visit the SVMC Software Updates page. In each of these cases, you will be notified when
updates are available.
Updating software without Internet access
For installations where the StoreVirtual 3200 is not able to connect to an external network, you can get
software updates manually. Download the HPE StoreVirtual Site Bundle, which consists of a manifest file,
software images and patches, from the following website: can be downloaded from the following website:

Procedure
1. On the initial Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center page, select the Download options tab,
and click Get drivers, software & firmware link.
2. Select the appropriate StoreVirtual 3200 model from the list presented on the destination page.
3. On the next page, select OS Independent for the product operating system.
The HPE StoreVirtual Site Bundle is one of the software packages listed for download. Installation
instructions, included with the software, describe how to install the contents of the bundle on a local
NFS share or FTP site.
