a. In the SVMC, from the StoreVirtual menu, select Storage Pools.
b. Select the storage pool and then select Actions > Edit.
c. Change the Virtual IP and Subnet mask.
10. After all the IP addresses have been changed, update the following settings on the storage systems,
as needed:
a. Verify that the StoreVirtual Management Console is accessible from all the network interfaces.
If the storage system has not been configured in a Management Group using the Configuration
Wizard, then it is only necessary to verify that every IP address is accessible from the SVMC.
b. On iSCSI systems, ensure that the iSCSI initiators on all hosts have been updated to use the
correct IP addresses and/or the VIP for target discovery.
c. Verify on all controllers the DNS servers, proxy server, System Time (NTP), and SNMP settings.
d. Change any Remote Associations and Remote Copy configurations.
e. Update any external tools such as system monitoring and backup.
Recovering the management IP address
Prerequisites
The StoreVirtual 3200 Storage system has been set up to use a single network for all traffic types.
Procedure
1. Connect a laptop or server directly to the MGMT port on one of the storage controllers.
Set the Ethernet port on the laptop or server to an IP address of 172.16.253.205, with a subnet mask
of 255.255.255.248 and no gateway.
2. Browse to the following MGMT port IP address of the connected storage controller:
• Controller 1—HTTPS://172.16.253.201
• Controller 2—HTTPS://172.16.253.202
3. To see the network settings for the bonded interfaces, log in to the SVMC and navigate to the IP
address you want to use to manage the StoreVirtual 3200 Storage.
a. From the StoreVirtual menu, select Storage Controllers.
The MGMT port IP address is displayed with the storage controller network settings.
