Slide the replacement fan module into the enclosure until it clicks into place

Ensure that the fan module is operating properly by checking the status LEDs. For more information, see

Replacing the UID health module
Verifying UID health module failure
The operation of the blue UID health module LED can be checked using the following methods:
Procedure
1. Press the system locate UID button on the rear of the enclosure and locate the UID from the
StoreVirtual Management Console.
2. Press the system locate UID button the front of the enclosure, which turns on the system locate UID
on the rear of the enclosure.
All other LEDs mirror the state shown on the front of the enclosure.
Removing the UID health module
Procedure
1. Power off the enclosure.
2. Disconnect all cables from the enclosure, including the power cables.
3. Remove fan module 2. See Removing a fan module on page 98.
4. Loosen the rear CTO hold-down bracket.
5. Loosen the captive CTO screws (2) behind the latch (1) on the front left and right bezel ears of the
enclosure.
