If the Active Alarms panel shows EID_BPS_FAULTY alarms for both controllers without
EID_CACHE_DATALOSS alarms, a battery might be charging or undergoing maintenance.
1. Wait up to 30 minutes for the alarm to clear before taking additional steps (solution 2).

If the EID_BPS_FAULTY alarms do not clear after 30 minutes, or the alarms are accompanied by
EID_CACHE_DATALOSS alarms, inspect the controller logs to determine the faulty battery or controller module.
1. Download the storage system support bundle from the SVMC:
a. On the StoreVirtual menu, select Storage Systems.
b. On the navigation pane, select the storage system, and then select Actions > Download storage
system support bundle on the content pane.
c. Save the bundle .zip file to the desired location.
2. Using a text editor, extract the support bundle files and open the
hpsp_ccu_show_controllers_verbose file. The information in the file appears.
