Follow these suggestions to choose high-quality refrigerant:
1. Contact the refrigerant producer to conrm the refrigerant authenticity.
2. Check the refrigerant by following the steps shown in Figure 3-1: Keep the
refrigerant indoors at a constant temperature and humidity for 24 hours. Use
a thermometer to measure the external surface temperature of the
refrigerant container, and connect a pressure gauge to the container to
measure its internal pressure. Determine the saturation pressure that
corresponds to the measured external surface temperature according to Table
3-7 and calculate the deviation from the measured internal pressure. If the
deviation is more than 0.2 MPa, the refrigerant is not
qualied and should be
replaced.
