The following steps describe assigning ID codes to the three BSC chassis
inside BSC rack #1 (the initial BSC rack). Repeat this procedure to
assign ID codes to the BSC chassis assemblies inside the expansion BSC
racks.
1. After removing the protective tape, set DIP switch S1, located
on the backplane of BSC chassis #1 (see figure 2-32 for switch
location), to the configuration shown in table 2-8.
2. After removing the protective tape, set DIP switch S1, located
on the backplane of BSC chassis #2, to the configuration shown
in table 2-8.
3. After removing the protective tape, set DIP switch S1, located
on the backplane of BSC chassis #3, to the configuration shown
in table 2-8.
