operational.
Is -48 VDC
present?
Yes

The fan tray assembly
must be replaced.
Verify that -48 VDC is
being supplied from
the PDU to the BSC
chassis backplane.
Is -48 VDC
present?
No
Yes
The power distribution
unit (PDU) must be
replaced.
Are
cooling fans
operating in the
malfunctioning
chassis?
Yes
No
Verify that -48 VDC is
being provided at
the appropriate PDU
terminal block.
Has power
been restored
to chassis?
Yes
No
BSC chassis is
operational.
Install original fan tray
assembly and
replace the defective
chassis assembly.
