6. Disconnect the cables.
v Type1-SATA
– Disconnect the LED signal, SATA signal and power cables from the
backplane. Make note of which cable is connected to which connector.
v Type 2 - SAS
– Disconnect the I
2
C signal, SAS signal and power cables from the
backplane. Make note of which cable is connected to which connector.
7. If you are instructed to return the backplane, follow all packaging instructions,
and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
