Removing the power paddle module
Use this information to remove the power paddle module.
About this task
To remove the power paddle module, complete the following steps:
Procedure
1. Read the safety information that begins on “Safety” on page vii and
“Installation guidelines” on page 283.
2. Turn off the server, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
3. Remove the top cover (see “Removing the top cover” on page 146).
4. Remove the power supplies. (See “Removing a power supply” on page 228).
5. Grasp the handle and pull the power paddle module up.
6. If you are instructed to return the power paddle module, follow all packaging
instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to
you.
