OPERATION
Personal injury or death could result when towing a disabled machine
incorrectry.
Follow the recommendations below, to properly perform the towing procedure.
Never use the towing hook at the rear axle to tow the machine.
During towing operation,
NEVER
allow anyone between the towing machine
and the towed machine.
Quick machine movement could overload the tow line or bar and cause it to
break. Gradual and smooth machine movement will work better.
Keep the tow line angle to a minimum. Do not exceed a
30"
angle from the
straight ahead position.
If the machine sinks down on a soft ground and
cannot crawl up by itself,, a wire rope should be
attached to the rear axle and the machine should
be towed by a towing machine.
To prevent the damage of the wire rope,
be
sure
to place a protector at the comer of the axle.
Use the towing wire rope with sufficient strength to
tow the machine.
