Information for installations C
(10)
and C
(12)
e appliance is suitable for operation in a C
(10)
or C
(12)
system only with the supply of methane gas (2H and 2E categories).
e appliances are developed to operate on collective pressurised ues with a safety pressure at the minimum heat input of 25 Pa and a
safety pressure at the maximum heat input of 100 Pa.
In boilers installed in ue systems type C
(10)
or C
(12)
, the parameter "Presence of clapet valve on ue gas" (F.1 = 1) must be enabled,
which will require automatic calibration. is is the only calibration operation permitted as CO
2
emission levels are aected by
the operating pressures induced in the collective ue, with particular reference to the minimum heat input or any recirculation
phenomena induced by the ue system.
e appliance must be connected to a ue system designed by a heating engineer in compliance with the local regulation in force.
e collective ue system must be suitably sized to allow the appliance to operate with the following specications with which it was de-
signed:
- the maximum pressure, when n-1 appliance is working at maximum heat input (with n= number of total appliances connected or that
can be connected to the same collective duct), and a boiler works at minimum heat input, is 25 Pa;
- ue gas mass at maximum heat input;
- ue gas mass at minimum heat input;
- the minimum pressure dierence allowed between the combustion product outlet and the combustion air inlet is -200 Pa (- 400 Pa for
C
12)
including -100 Pa (-300 Pa C
(12)
) of pressure generated by wind;
- the duct must have been sized with a nominal temperature of the combustion products of 25°C.
- the maximum allowed recirculation rate for wind action is 10%;
- the common ue must be certied to admit an overpressure of at least 200 Pa (minimum pressure class P1);
- no draught-breaker devices must be provided in the duct system.
In particular, at the coupling point to the pressurised collective ue, a plate must be visible showing at least the following technical infor-
mation:
- the name and trademark of the common ue gas pipe manufacturer;
- suitability for operation with certied boilers C
(10)
or C
(12)
;
- the maximum ue gas mass value allowed in kg/h;
- the dimensions of the common duct (collective pipe);
e openings for combustion air and the inlet of combustion products of the pressurised collective ue must be closed and their
tightness must be checked when the appliance is disconnected.
e appliance connection to the pressurised collective ue must be made as instructed, without exceeding the specic maximum exten-
sions stated.
e ue pipe of the appliance must be inclined (5% slope) towards the boiler to facilitate the evacuation of condensate.
e appliance ue gas outlet must be installed with the ue gas non-return valve kit, which ensures correct operation of the ap-
pliance and facilitates its maintenance operations.
Furthermore, the safety sticker must be axed on the front casing. is sticker is contained in the appropriate Kit C
(10)
C
(12)
, which con-
tains the additional exhaust ue gas non-return valve, necessary for the pressurised collective ues.
It is advisable to ax the sticker in a clearly visible position on the front casing.
When the sealed chamber is opened, combustion products may escape even when the appliance is turned o.
