CHAPTER 9
Adjusting Settings
As your needs change, you may want to adjust various settings on your PDM.
Many settings use toggles to turn settings on or o. When the button is blue
and on the right side, the setting is on. When the button is grey and on the
le, the setting is o. Tapping anywhere on the button toggles it between
the le and right sides.
You can see an on-screen description of some settings by tapping the name of the
setting. If a description is available, the screen expands to show the information.
Tap the setting name again to hide the description.
Note: Some settings have default values, but all user settings can be changed.
PDM Device Settings
e PDM Device settings allow you to control network connectivity, your
personal identication settings, date and time, and other general device settings.
Network connectivity
Bluetooth® wireless technology is always on whether the PDM is awake or asleep.
Flight mode does not turn the Bluetooth® setting o.
Flight mode
Toggling ight mode on or o does not aect the Bluetooth® setting, which
remains on in either case.
To turn ight mode on or o:
1. Press and hold the Power button until a screen appears with a Flight Mode
option.
2. Tap Flight Mode to toggle between on and o.
