Installing the finger guard (curve)
The guard plate protects against injuries as well as damage to the belt. It covers the entire gap
between adjacent rollers and in doing so ensures safe transport of conveying goods, even small
ones. It consists of two metal plates screwed together that are installed between side frames
using serrated flange bolts and ribbed nuts.

CAUTION
Risk of crushing and electric shock
Installation and maintenance tasks on a conveyor system during its operation can lead to
crushing and electric shock.
4 De-energize the module and ensure that it cannot be started accidentally.
4 Fasten the metal plate with two serrated flange bolts and ribbed nuts to the inner side frame
and with two serrated flange bolts to the outer side frame of the curve.
