7.12 Anti-tipping mechanism
7.12.1 Replacing the anti-tipping mechanism with screw
CAUTION!
Danger of tipping over if the anti-tipping mechanism is incorrectly installed.
• Always install the anti-tipping mechanism in the first drill hole (long adjustment) on a
wheelchair with a lifter.
Requirements:
• 10 mm socket wrenches (two of them)
• Loosen and remove the self-securing nut (3).
• Remove screw.
• Pull the anti-tipping mechanism (1) rearward
out of the support tube (2).
• Insert the anti-tipping mechanism into the
support tube.
- Wheelchair with a lifter:
first drill hole (long adjustment)
- Wheelchair without a lifter:
second drill hole (short adjustment)
• Insert screw.
• Re-position the self-securing nut and tighten.
