7.17.3 Replacing the lifter
Note
When an electrical adjustment option is retrofitted, then this option needs to be activated in the
driving program as well if you have an ACS 2 remote.
Requirements:
• small blade screwdriver
• 13 mm jaw spanner
• 24 mm jaw spanner
• 6 mm jaw spanner
• 24 mm ring spanner
• Allen key 5 mm
• oblique pliers
• cable binder
• Run the lifter up to the top position if possible.
• Tilt the seat tilting completely to the rear if
possible.
• Remove legrests.
• Remove all plugs from the electronic module
and actuator module.
• Loose and remove the four screws (2) with a
13 mm jaw spanner.
• Lift the seat support (1) down from the lifter
(3).
• Remove both battery cases as described in
Chapter 7.7.1.
• Open the lifter energy chain. To this, lift the
cover (1) up on each chain link and pull the
clip (2) out.
• Pull the cable out of the chain and expose
completely.
