Example
Assuming that the initial bar indication is B = 8 and the current bar indication A = 6, the relative
attenuation is d (B) = 3.5 dB, d (A) = 7 dB. Thus, d (A) - d (B) = 3.5 dB.
From this, it is clear that the current transmitted output power is attenuated by approx. 3.5 dB.
