Introduction
Keysight MPS instruments operate as a solar array simulator when the SAS:MODE command specifies
either Curve or Table mode. The two primary SAS applications for which the Keysight MP4361A and
MP4362A power modules are designed for are: dc to dc converter devices, and shunt switching
devices.
For dc to dc converter applications, operation can be specified as either maximum power point
tracking (default), or bus regulation. The following diagram illustrates a typical circuit used for dc to dc
converter operation as default or bus regulation:
