FOOTNOTES (Figure 3-23):
14 Registration. Manually Register SLC Devices.
Purpose: The ARIES NETLink control unit needs to know which SLC addresses (of the 255 possible
addresses) will be occupied by a SmartOne detector, monitor module, relay module or control
module. The Registration Procedure enters an occupied address into the control-unit's configuration
memory for each SLC device that it encounters during execution. The SLC devices must be uniquely
addressed prior to execution of the Registration Procedure.
The Main Controller Board (MCB) recognizes the following default-operating parameters for these
SLC devices:
