5. Check the Wiring Harness
1. Check the wiring harness between ECU terminals and each
injector terminal, and locate the open harness.

6. Check the Wiring Harness Connectors and Engine ECU Pins
1. Check the wiring harness connectors of each engine ECU
terminal and the engine ECU pins for faulty connection,
deformation or other defects.

7. Check the DTC
1. Place the key switch in the OFF position, and attach the
diagnosis tool to the CAN1 connector.
2. Start the engine, and clear the past DTCs.
3. Read the DTC again.

No. 1 cylinder / TWV1 E14, E34 ←→ E15, E35
No. 3 cylinder / TWV2 E18, E38 ←→ E19, E39
No. 4 cylinder / TWV3 E14, E34 ←→ E16, E36
No. 2 cylinder / TWV4 E18, E38 ←→ E20, E40
OK Go to "6. Check the Wiring Harness Connectors and ECU Pins".
NG Replace the faulty area.
OK Go to "7. Check the DTC".
NG The connectors or engine ECU pins are faulty. → Replace them or
replace the engine ECU.
