[E1+E2+E3+E4] Voided volume
Calculated: Average flow rate = ---------------------- = ------------------
[B1+B2+B3+B4] Flow time
Maximum flow rate (ml/s)
The maximum flow rate is the maximum measured value of the flow rate after
correction for artefacts. Calculated: Maximum flow rate = [F].
Time to maximum flow (s)
The time to maximum flow is the elapsed time from onset of flow to maximum
flow. Calculated: Time to maximum flow = [C].
Voided volume (ml)
The voided volume is the total volume expelled via the urethra.
Calculated: Voided volume = [E1+E2+E3+E4].
Flow time (s)
The flow time is the time over which measurable flow occurs.
Calculated: Flow time = [B1+B2+B3+B4]. When voiding is completed without
interruption, flow time is equal to voiding time.
Voiding time (s)
The voiding time is the total duration of micturition, including the interruptions.
Calculated: Voiding time = [D]. When voiding is completed without interruption,
voiding time is equal to flow time.
Intervals
The number of periods during which a continuous flow is measured.
For example, the flow curve displayed in figure 22 has 4 intervals.
Delay time (s)
The delay time is the time from the beginning of the investigation (the button
Start Miction is pressed) to the moment the patient started voiding. Delay time
