1.5 Clinical Benefits
The Laborie Flowmaster uroflowmetry products, when used in concert with
other Laborie uroflowmetry products, assist healthcare professionals in
diagnosing patients of all populations with lower urinary tract voiding or
incontinence problems.
1.6 Performance Characteristics
The Laborie Flowmaster uroflowmetry system measures a patient’s urinary
flow rate and volume, with the results used to verify or disprove patient
symptoms via scientific methodology. Data is acquired by means of an
intergated transducer in the Flowsensor and then processed by the Laborie
uroflow software application. Results can be printed out in graphical form,
including a software-calculated Voiding Summary.
