By using the Flowmaster software version 2.0 and higher you can easily save
patient data on the network. Backup of the data is guaranteed if the standard
backup of the hospital network is made.
1.2 Intended Use
The Laborie Flowmaster is intended for uroflow measurements for the purpose
of assisting healthcare professionals in executing urodynamic studies,
collecting data, and archiving patient and testing information.
The Flowmaster is intended to be used in a professional healthcare facility.
The Flowmaster system is intended for use by licensed and trained healthcare
professionals such as the following:
Urologists
Pediatricians
Urogynaecologists
Gynecologists
Nursing homes
General practitioners
1.3 Indications for Use
The Flowmaster uroflow measurement system is indicated for urologic testing
on male and female children and adult patients as well as certain children with
complex voiding/incontinence problems to aid in the diagnosis of urine storage
and voiding disfunction disorders, including the following:
Lower urinary tract voiding problems
Urinary incontinence
Bladder outlet obstructions
Neurogenic bladder dysfunction
1.4 Contraindications
The Flowmaster device has no known contraindications.
