7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Introduction
The information in this chapter provides you with trouble shooting instructions.
Note that the flowsensor may only be opened for any adjustment,
replacement, maintenance or repair by Laborie-qualified personnel.
7.2 Flowmeter Does Not Function (Respond)
In case there is no communication between flowmeter and computer, act as
folllows.
Check that the flow program is started. If not, then you must start the
Flowmaster database program.
Check in the flow program that the menu-item Flowmeter on is enabled.
Click on the flow program icon to show the pop-up menu.
Check that the batteries are placed in the battery compartment properly.
Check that the green/red LED flashes once after replacing the battery
compartment.
Insert new batteries and check that the green/red LED flashes once.
Check that the 5 Volt power supply (optional) is connected to the flowmeter
and the mains, indicated by a green LED.
Check that the Bluetooth dongle is connected to one of the USB ports on
your computer.
When you are using the Flowmaster network option, check if the network
connection is available.
Contact your Laborie representative.
7.3 Measured Values Are Too Low
In case that the generated values from the flowsensor are too low, act as
follows.
When no weight increase is displayed when a weight of 50 grams is placed
on the flowsensor, and you see a weight increase when a weight of 2 kg is
placed, the offset will be negative. Contact your Laborie representative.
