Toreplaceamicroprocessorandheatsink,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Step2.Removetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage49).
Step3.Removetheairbaffle(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage50).
Step4.Ifyouarereplacingmicroprocessor1,removethememorymodulesfromDIMMconnectors6and
