Toremovea3.5-inchsimple-swapharddiskdrive,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords.
Step2.Unlocktheleft-sidecover.
Note:Youmustunlocktheleft-sidecovertoopenorremovethebezel.Whenyoulocktheleft-side
cover,itlocksboththecoverandthebezel.
Step3.Openthebezel(see“Removingthebezel”onpage184).
Step4.Pressthereleaselatchtoopenthedrivehandle.Then,tograspthedrivehandleandpullthe
harddiskdriveoutofthedrivebay.
