■ Creates the following directories if they do not already exist:
— c:\spm\backup
— c:\spm\reports
— c:\spm\tmp
■ Does one of the following:
— Creates the SPM configuration file c:\spm\ams.cfg,
if it does not
already exist. In this case, the ams.cfg file consists of only one line,
in which the language attribute is specified: /$1* if you specified
English or did not specify a language with the LQVWDOO
command;
— Modifies the ams.cfg file, if it already exists, by adding or changing
the LANG value.
Follow the steps below to install SPM on the PC’s hard disk.
! Switch to Drive A, if it is not already the current drive.

! Insert the backup copy of the SPM disk into Drive A.
! Type one of the commands shown below and press

■ JOTUBMMTQBOJTI
Because English is the default language, JOTUBMM and JOTUB MMFOHMJ TI have the
same result. If you do use the language argument (
FOHMJTI, GSFODI, or TQBOJTI), you
must type it in lowercase letters as shown. The command
JOTUBMM may be uppercase
or lowercase.

! Remove the SPM disk from Drive A and reboot your system.
The installation procedure is complete.
