4.2.5 Inserting and replacing the transmitter batteries
A WRP45 transmitter is used in the procedure described here, but the operations are the same also if a
WRP60 or WRTS is used.
BEWARE
Use only the batteries indicated Table 3-1.
Do not short-circuit the batteries since there is the risk of explosion.
WARNING
Before opening the batteries compartment, make sure that the transmitter body is completely dry.
Be particularly careful with the spacing
between the battery cover and the receiver body (we
suggest to blow compressed air into the spacing
). It is important to make sure that no liquids
ENTER the transmitter while it is open.
The electronic part of the transmitted would not be
damaged since it is completely insulated from the battery compartment, but t
here could be an
anomalous consumption of the batteries. Thus we suggest to preventively dry the parts involved
in this operation.
Proceed as follows to insert the batteries in the transmitter:
Remove the cover (C) acting on the screw (A).
Extract the batteries, if any. Insert the new batteries (B) respecting the polarity (follow the directions
found in the battery compartment).
Re-position the cover (C) and tighten the screw (A).
