1.4 Conventions and symbols used
Some typographical modalities were adopted for drafting this manual.
Two types of safety warning were defined:
WARNING
This warning indicates the possibility of damage to the electronic unit and other devices
connected to it, or of loosing data.
BEWARE
This indication concerns conditions of hazard to the operator or the technician.
Part
icularly important information, which could facilitate understanding and using the system, is
reported in a box, marked by the word "N.B." in bold.
DANGER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Recycle and/or dispose of following the standards in force in the user’s country.
1.5 Definition of operator
In compliance with the harmonized standard EN 292/1, operator is the person(s) entrusted with installation,
operation, adjustment, maintenance, cleaning, repair and transportation of the machine.
1.6 Disposal of packaging materials
The package of the equipment consists of materials that are not particularly dangerous for persons, animals
or materials as far as disposal is concerned. The operators or persons entrusted with waste disposal must
consider that the package is made of:
• Cardboard: external package and internal insert.
• Expanded polyurethane: internal insert,
• "Egg box" foam: internal insert,
• Plastic film/bubble wrap: internal wrapping,
• Plastic cap: internal insert.
DANGER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Plastic and polyethylene ARE NOT
biodegradable materials and cannot be dispersed in the
environment: recycle and/or dispose of following the standards in force in the user’s country.
