4.2.6 Duration of the batteries
The battery duration depends on both the type used and how long they are stored. All the batteries are
subject to a self-discharge phenomenon leading to a loss of energy proportionate to the storage period. Also
the storage conditions affect self-discharging (temperature and humidity); you may expect an overall
variation of 10% in relation to the nominal values reported in the table.

TRANSMITTER STATE
SPEED GRADE
0 1 2
Low consumption (batteries inserted, but not in measuring cycle) 1,5 years 1 year 150 days
In measuring cycle (stylus not bent) 900 hours
In use for 5% of machine operating time
360 days 270 days 180 days
In use for 10% of machine operating time 240 days 200 days 140 days
