WRONG POSITIONING:
The two Receivers are too close to
each other and the antennas of the
two systems interfere with each
other.
The radiation diagrams change and it
is not sure that recep-
tion/transmission is good enough in
the direction necessary for entering
the machine passing through
the
window.
It is important to ensure
that the two base stations (WRI
receivers) are positioned at least
0.5 m apart.

4.10.7 Machines positioned side by side
CORRECT POSITIONING
The two base stations (WRI receivers) are positioned correctly and in accordance with the description provided in
Figure 4-30 While the receivers WRI1 and WRI2 receive the signal from the corresponding transmitter WRP1 - WRP2
only after it has been reflected off the machine positioned in front of them, they also
receive the signal directly from
the opposite transmitter; however it is possible to eliminate any cross-interference by using the appropriate channels
and sub-channels as described in para 4.10.9.
