3.1.1 Signal Transmission
The radio transmission system consists of one or more touch probes/transmitters and a receiver. Upon the
system installation and configuration the signal is sent from receiver to transmitter, while during the use the
touch and low battery signals are sent from transmitter to receiver.
3.1.1.1 Transmission condition
The communication between receiver and transmitter (bidirectional) may take place through 2 types of radio
transmission:
1. Completely visible, with a direct path.
2. Through reflections, when transmitter and receiver are not in direct visibility, but communicate
through reflection on the walls, floor and the metal parts present in the surrounding area.
To optimize the communication we suggest to follow the directions reported in section 4.11 on page 52.
