Symptoms of a machine initialization failure include global failure of all of the servo and stepper motors
to initialize (power up). In addition to these, some LEDs might illuminate on the Main PCB, but most will
probably stay dark.

1 Examine the status of the 5V
indicator LED located at po-
sition D43 on the Main PCB
(labeled “5V Regulator”).
LED D43 off or dim Main Controller PCB has failed,
replace it.

If the 5V indicator LED (D43) is off, it indicates a catastrophic failure of the 5V circuitry on the Main PCB.
This fault should not occur very often, if at all. Because of the expense involved in replacing the Main
PCB, contact Technical Support so the issue can be conrmed.
