2-30 Microtek User's Guide for Windows
4 Insert the film cartridge into the guide slot on the upper right
side of the scanner. Do not insert the film cartridge into the
lower portion of the guide slot, as it will cause the cartridge to
jam. Make sure that you insert the cartridge with the film
facing the front of the scanner (just like inserting the single
slide).

5 To make sure the filmstrip has been positioned correctly, look
at the slide holder through the top of the scanner. The frame
that you want should be positioned squarely in the middle.
You will also know that the frame is positioned correctly
because as you insert the filmstrip, you will hear a click as it
locks into place.

make sure filmstrip is

Insert cartridge into upper portion of
guide slot.
Make sure image on filmstrip is
facing the front of the scanner as
cartridge is inserted.
