Using LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
5.3.1
Creating and adding a configuration
Run the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
Set new configuration data (disk array/virtual drive settings)
Check the virtual drive settings
Initialize the virtual drive
Execute the Consistency Check
Exit the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
1. Run the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
2. To create a new configuration, choose Configure and then New Configuration from the TOP menu
(Management Menu).
To add a configuration, choose Configure and then View/Add Configuration.
Important
When a configuration is created by choosing New Configuration, the existing
configuration data is cleared. To add configuration data to the existing
configuration, choose View/Add Configuration.
Note
• When Easy Configuration is chosen to create a configuration, the Virtual Drive
capacity cannot be specified. If you want to specify the capacity, choose New
Configuration or View/Add Configuration.
• The capacity of the virtual drive for RAID10 is set as the maximum capacity. You
cannot specify the capacity.
• Skip Consistency Check for RAID0.
