Youcancontrolthevolumeofincomingringing,splashtone,Paging,BackgroundMusic,Handsfreeand
yourhandset.Keysetsconsolidatealladjustmentsintothevolumebuttons.Pressingthevolumebuttons
whentheterminalisidlewilladjustthecontrastleveloftheterminal'sdisplay.Setthespecificfeaturevol-
umeforitsmostcomfortablelevel.
To adjust the volume of incoming ringing and splash tone:
1. PresstheVOL DOWNorVOL UPkeys.
To adjust volume for incoming Paging, BGM, Handsfree and the handset:
1. VOL DOWNorVOL UP.
Youmustpressthesekeyswhileonacall.
Note:Thevolumemustbesetwhilethefeatureisinuse(forexample,onanidleterminalwith
noBGM,pressingeithervolumekeyadjuststheLCDdisplay).Youcan,however,presstheCALL
key+829+VOLUPorVOLDOWNtoadjustringingatanidleterminal.
