13.7 SOFTWARE UPDATE BY USB
MEMORY STICK
1 Copy in a USB memory stick the updated file
with extension bin.
2 It’s better to use an empty memory stick to
avoid any kind of mistake.
3 Switch off the Prontobar machine (the dis-
play shows OFF).
4 Open the front door and insert the USB
memory stick on the back of the door.
Note: before to update the software it will be
useful to copy all the data in order to
prevent the reset of all the settings.
Choose the function Machine -> Usb
to copy in the Usb stick the settings.
5 Select the Usb -> Software function to
install the newest software release pressing
the on-off key.
6 Remove the USB memory stick and wait.
7 Switch off the machine and reset the machine
holding pressed the RESET and ENTER keys
while turning on the machine by the main
switch.
8 Remove the USB memory stick.
9 Restore the copied settings using the func-
tion Usb -> Machine (see 13.6).
10 Remove the Usb key and restart the machine.
