Setup Items in PDL Settings Menu
In the PDL Setting menu, set the parameters for printing.

Available Data Formats
The data formats shown in the following table can be used with this Printer.
Panel Display Data Formats
D-SCAN
This is OKI Data Infotech's original D-SCAN format. D-SCAN raster
data is also supported.
HP-GL
This data format is compatible with HP-GL, HP-GL/2, and HP RTL
from HP. (Compatible with HP Designjet 1055CM)
TIFF This data format is compatible with TIFF Revision 4.0.
CALS This data format is compatible with CALS Raster Type I.
TIP

In this manual, PDL is used as a generic term for all the data formats
above.


Appendix.

Automatic Data Format Identication
The Printer has a function that automatically detects and processes the format of
the received data.
With this function, data in dierent formats are sent to a single channel or port for
printing.
The Printer automatically identies and processes the received data in the four data
formats: D-SCAN format, HP-GL format, TIFF format, and CALS format.
The following PDL parameters are specied in the PDL Setting menu.
