Setup Items in PDL Settings Menu

Format Parameters (only with HP-GL and D-SCAN)
Format parameters specify the analysis conditions in the HP-GL format and D-SCAN
format.
Select this setting to:
- Use the LP-1030's printer driver;
- Operate without the touchpanel setting; and
- Print on a user dened series roll.
The user-dened roll width is specied with:
- The printer driver setting; or
- The touchpanel setting
When you intend to specify a user-dened roll width with the printer driver setting,
set the parameter to User Dened.
However, in spite of selecting User Dened, the user-dened roll width with touchpanel
setting is valid when the Printer receives data from the other printer drivers.

Printer Driver (only with HP-GL)
The parameter species the operation mode for the LP-1030's printer driver.
When the LP-1030's printer driver is operated with other drivers, set the parameter
to Enabled.

Not Enabled When the Printer operates with the printer driver for LP-1030
installed, select Not Enabled to prioritize the PDL settings
with the operation panel over the driver settings.
Note

When the driver is disabled, some items are
aected.
Items aected by the driver settings are listed in
the table on the following page.

Enabled When the Printer operates with the printer driver for LP-1030
installed, select Enabled to prioritize the driver settings over
the PDL settings with the operation panel.
However, when the Printer receives data from the other
printer driver, the PDL settings with the operation panel is
prioritized.
